It's July!

Wow, July hit with a vengeance!  It's been hot Hot HOT here lately, so hot we've hardly done anything fun because we can barely move away from the fans.  We have no AC either, so we're roasting here.  I thought I'd share a few pictures from the past couple of days, though I don't have many. 

June 30th, we had Greg's Grandma's 90th birthday party.  Can you imagine, 90 years of life?  It would be great to live that long, as long as you are healthy enough to enjoy them.  Which, Grandma W seems to be pretty healthy and still gets out to enjoy all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Greg's family is huge, with 13 original children, then all of their spouses and children, and then all their children's children.  Whew, did you get all that?  Anyway, I didn't get many pictures of the actual party, but I did snap some of the kids playing outside at the playground.

She had shoes, but somehow they disappeared right after we got to the party.  Amazingly, all my children's shoes seem to disappear when we're not paying attention.  

Right after the party, Aleyah and Makena went camping with their Auntie and Uncle, so no pictures of them from the past two days.  I hope they're having a lot of fun.  They'll be home tonight, so I guess I'll find out later what they've all been up to.

Landen and Carlie have just been surviving the heat.  Sunday we just sat around, not really doing anything.  Monday, today, we took a trip to Walmart for groceries and also went on a hunt for barn fans.  I'm sure our poor cows are overheating in the barn, it definitely needs some more air circulation.  We also enjoyed a cool swim in the bath tub, just to help cool down.

Water in his face.  I tried getting him to wear the goggles so it didn't get in his eyes, but he didn't want to.

So, that's our past few days, battling the heat.  Hoping to get back to having some fun soon, but who knows with how the weather has been.  May need to find some inside activities to do.
